Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is a device that measure geometry of parts or objects using probe to get points on the surface of parts or objects.
There are some sensors that used on CMMs, such as Mechanical probes, Optical Sensor, Laser Sensor and White Light Sensor. CMM measure the objects with displacement the probe from a reference position in three dimensional Cartesian coordinate system (X, Y and Z) or 3 Axes.
