Hirox main system is fully equipped with 160 GB hard drive, gigabit Ethernet and 6 USB 2.0 ports. Moreover, it has a DVD/CD RW integrated in the main system besides all the light adjustment like brightness, contrast, frame rate, etc. Printing is as easy as connecting the main system to a pictBridge compatible printer with a USB cable.

Hirox Optics

As a lens maker, Hirox has developed extensive range of different optical lens from macro lens that has magnification of 1 to 60 times, continuous optical zoom lens which extended up to 7000 x magnification (the highest in the market right now).The patented rotary head adaptor allows observation of the conditions of the sides of the object without missing a spot. All these can be done without adjusting the focus and without rotating the lens itself. Another revolutionary development from hirox is ACS function (automated calibration system) that store calibration values for measurement. Thus, everytime operator change the magnification the calibration values will be selected automatically which prevent human error of selecting wrong measurement calibration.

User Friendly

Hirox KH-7700 brings automated functions such as focus control, multi-focus, and 3D profiling which allow anyone to easily make repeatable observations with greater accuracy. All the revolutionary functions can be controlled through the user friendly display which is the result of extensive ergonomic research.

Hirox Lamp

To produce a lamp that could achieve accurate color rendering and long life, Hirox with lamp manufacturer has developed a metal halide arc lamp specifically for the KH-7700. After years of research, a metal halide lamp was developed with a color rendering index (RA) of over 86, very close to sunlight (RA 100) in comparison to Halogen lamp (RA 30) which makes the digital picture has exact same color as what we see through our eyes.

Working Distance and Depth of Field

All Hirox lens features long working distance, extended depth of field and high contrast even at high magnification. For example at 160 X magnification 2016 series lenses has a 44 mm working distance and at 7000 X magnification 10C lenses still has a 3.4 mm working distance.

Live Inspection

Smooth live images is provided by 30 frames/s high resolution CCD camera which is equivalent to real time video with doable buffering.

Hirox Software provides all the user with extensive features that may be desired.There is high accuracy binarization display, lighting function, contrast adjustment, strengthen edges, noise removal, split screen display, recording with the timer, record parameters, etc.

2D and 3D profile

With various display formats and rich 3D measuring function, you will see things you have never seen before in a 3D format. Without missing a single spot, extract easily the 3D information of your sample.

Free zooming can be done by simply rotating the mouse wheel without changing the lens magnification or the lens.

This functions is use simply to select and adjust camera setup patterns while viewing preview images with different settings.

Extensive Measurement Functions

Measurement including length, surface area, and angles can be taken in various styles. With a single mouse operation, the object on screen can be measured real time. The measurement data can be saved to a CSV file which cam be further used on a computer with any common spreadsheet.
